about

"FLY AWAY, the first single off of my new album, is one of my favorite songs in the collection. Lately, I've been sensing a collective phenomenon of people who maybe feeling trapped inside forces outside of their control, maybe even of their own mind. This song is for anyone that feels like, sometimes, all they want to do is fly away from reality. I think the way the sound of this track turned out really encapsulates the yearning of someone who just wants to feel free. It features some of my favorite production yet, and CASS aboslutely crushed the vocals." - Arja

lyrics

All alone on a starry night
Wondering what it would take to fly bye
Sell my soul to the heavens, I
I'd even rip wings off butterflies
I'd even rip wings off butterflies
Know I would do anything to fly high away
I would do anything to just fly away

Butterflies, I'd even rip wings off butterflies
Butterflies, fly away

Kiss the moon as we take to the skies
Fill my stomach with butterflies
Far away till I feel alive
This flame inside of me burns, it won't be contained
And everything will feel okay
We'll disappear in the night and just fly away
Please I would do anything to just fly away
And I'm not trying to be selfish,
I'm just tired of being trapped in my mind
And honey, I know that you love me
But I need you to give me some time
To feel fine

Flip it, listen
I would do anything to just fly away

Butterflies, I'd even rip wings off butterflies
Butterflies, fly away
